It's funny how my mind tricks me. One minute I look at my reflection and I look ok. The next minute I look in the mirror and am appalled by what I see. It's insane! WIthin just a few minutes my outlook changes, it's really frustrating. It makes me want to cry sometimes because I feel so ugly. But there ARE moments where I'm ok. And I want to hold onto those moments. Because there are those moments where I feel good and they are wonderful.
So how do you get through those moments when you feel really low? LOTS of positive thoughts. Tell yourself you are beautiful the way you are, that this feeling will pass, that in a few minutes you will be ok. Tell yourself that the uncomfortable feelings are temporary and fleeting and that it will blow over soon. Tell yourself you are smart and caring and lovable and worthy and know that you don't have to act on any behaviors just because you are having a low moment. YOU CAN fight through. It's time to fight.
Know that you are going to be ok and move forward. You are beautiful just the way you are!! Keep fighting.
