Tips for dealing with an upset stomach:
1. Drink tea. I drink chamomile, hibiscus, and strawberry leaf tea. It soothes my stomach and the warmth feels good. Ginger tea is also really helpful. Drink tea! It feels good.
2. Use heat. Heat up a warm compress or simply wet a towel, stick it in the microwave for a minute, and put it in a large plastic bag. Heat feels really good on a sore stomach. The heat is soothing snd calming.
3. It's embarrassing but a lot of times stomach aches are gas pains. Lay on the floor and put your knees to your stomach and roll around a bit. It can help rele ibe gas and ease sharp stomach pains.
4. Take tums or pepto bismol. These meds can help with nausea and upset stomach, especially if you have acid reflux hurting your stomach. But don't rely on tums as they can make you constipated.
Rest and be gentle with yourself. Tummy troubles are uncomfortable and obnoxious. But you CAN fight through and feel better. I usually feel better by the morning. Hang in there!
