I was able to sleep until 6 this morning which is nice because I've been up at 4 the past week. I got up, had my chia seed pudding (yum) and went for a walk. Chia sees pudding is really easy to make, and it's a great morning snack! Just add 1 tbsp of chia seeds and 3 tbsp of milk ( I use soy milk) and stir it up and then leave it in the fridge over night. And voila! You have a little pudding to eat. You can add cocoa powder or sweetener if you would like some more flavor. It's really yummy :)
Today I am seeing my doctor. She is the kindest lady and is always very gentle and understanding. Today I get to have a visit where I tell her how well I'm doing!! It's nice when people are proud of my progress. It's crazy to think just a couple months ago I went to see her and was on the verge of ending up in the hospital. Now I'm strong and healthy and thriving! And that feels good.
It is possible to get better. I'm on my way. I know if I want to go back to my eating disorder I can... But I don't want that anymore! I would rather weigh more and be happy and healthy than look like a little girl and be sick and miserable. Telling myself over and over this IS worth it.
